Ardnamurchan Sherry Cask Release Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This 2023-release from Ardnamurchan includes both peated and unpeated malt and is matured in ex-oloroso and ex-pedro ximenez casks. This is an approachable whisky, with a chewy texture and abundant dried fruit notes of prune, caramelised cherry and raisin on the palate. Nose : Murray mint, bonfire on the beach,salted peanut icecream, tomato stalks, Brazil nut and sundried tomatoes. Palate: Tarry rope, bung cloth, smoky bacon, old tractor shed, peanut brittle,stickyspare-ribs. Finish : Crashing waves, sea-salt, bothy fireplace and cigar shop
