Glenfarclas Family Casks Summer 2002 (Cask 3323) Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The family-run distillery released this Glenfarclas Single Cask Whiskey from 2002 in the summer of 2022 for their Family Casks series. The single malt whiskey spent its cask maturity from 2002 to 2022 in the Sherry Hogshead 3323. The distillery bottled the Scotch at cask strength at 50.6 percent by volume. As a natural Scotch, it also comes without coloring and chill filtration. There are just 302 bottles available worldwide. Nose: The whisky is fruity on the nose. It smells of currants and oranges. Behind it are malt and chopped nuts. Berries, caramel and chocolate complete the aroma. Tasting: The Glenfarclas Family Casks 2002 Cask 3323 is fruity on the tongue. Slight sharpness is present. Furthermore, the whiskey tastes of orange peel and apricots. Pepper and ginger add spice. Finish: The finish is long-lasting. The Scotch says goodbye with oranges and nuts. Oak finish.
