Andremily 2021 Syrah No. 10

Andremily 2021 Syrah No. 10

The 2021 No 10 checks in as 93% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, and 2% Viognier that was raised in 65% new French oak for 22 months. It shows that classic 2021 focus and purity, with darker berry and cassis-like fruits intermixed with ground pepper, sandalwood, violets, and smoky, meaty nuances. With full-bodied richness, it's incredibly concentrated and has ultra-fine tannins, flawless balance, and a great finish. This absolutely heavenly red from the genius of Jim Binns tops out my scale. - Jeb Dunnuck

Andremily 2021 Syrah No. 10

$299.99

Andremily 2021 Syrah No. 10

It’s composed of 93% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, and 2% Viognier. The 2021 vintage was aged 22 months in French oak (around 65% new), with fermentation incorporating about 50% whole clusters. The fruit is sourced from multiple Santa Barbara County vineyards, including Slide Hill, White Hawk, Larner, Harrison-Clarke, and Alta Mesa.

The Syrah-dominant No. 10 opens with a wild bouquet of blueberries, wild strawberries, black pepper, meaty, gamey notes, iron, and floral/earthy undertones. On the palate it's full-bodied and richly textured, with seamless layering of dark fruits, spice, and savory complexity. The tannins are ample and well structured, and the finish is long and energetic.

Drink anytime between 2026–2042, with a peak window around 2028–2038.
