Gray Monk Odyssey Merlot

The grapes used in the Odyssey Series Merlot were harvested from two vineyards in the Oliver area in October. A specific red wine yeast was employed to produce robust flavours in the wine. The wine was aged in oak for more than 12 months and then bottled in February.
TA deep purple hued Merlot with a complex bouquet of blueberry, dark plum, sweet oak and nutmeg spice. The bold, ripe flavours include black cherries and dark berrie, accented by sweet spice and licorice. The extra-dry finish lingers with notes similar to the palate.
