La Tene 2023 Pinot Noir

The 2023 vintage in cool-climate Pinot Noir regions saw a moderate, steady growing season, with warm days and cool nights ensuring balanced ripening. Extended hang time allowed for full flavor development while preserving acidity. The conditions produced wines with pure fruit expression, fresh aromatics, and fine tannin structureβ€”ideal for a style that emphasizes elegance over weight.

Tasting Notes & Serving Suggestions:
Vibrant, fruit-forward, and finely textured. Aromas of wild strawberry, cherry compote, and raspberry mingle with notes of rose petals, subtle spice, and a hint of earthy minerality. The palate is medium-bodied and supple, showing flavors of red cherry, pomegranate, and a touch of herbal tea. Bright acidity and fine, silky tannins give the wine lift and precision, finishing with a clean, floral-tinged elegance.
Serve slightly cool at 15–16Β°C (59–61Β°F) in Burgundy-style Pinot Noir glasses to highlight its aromatics and delicate texture. Decant for 20–30 minutes if drinking young to allow the bouquet to open. Best paired with herb-roasted chicken, seared salmon, mushroom ravioli, or beet salad with goat cheese. Enjoy now for its freshness or cellar for 4–6 years for added earthy complexity.
