Aberlour A'bunadh Sherry Cask

Produced at the historic Aberlour Distillery in Scotland’s Speyside region, A’bunadh was created as a tribute to founder James Fleming and traditional 19th century whisky-making methods. The name “A’bunadh” translates from Gaelic as “the original,” reflecting the whisky’s old-style production approach. Matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at natural cask strength, each batch is non chill-filtered and crafted to preserve maximum flavour and texture.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Deep aromas of raisins, dark cherries, orange peel, gingerbread, melted chocolate, roasted nuts, cinnamon, and rich Oloroso sherry rise powerfully from the glass

Palate: Full-bodied and intensely rich with layers of fruitcake, dark chocolate, molasses, clove, espresso, toasted oak, candied orange, and warming spice balanced by velvety sweetness.

Finish: Long, warming, and luxurious with lingering dried fruit, cocoa, nutmeg, oak spice, leather, and sweet sherry richness that slowly fades into dark chocolate bitterness.
