Clos De L'Oratoire Red

Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes draws fruit from all four major terroirs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape: galets roulés, red clay, sandy soils and limestone fragments. This diversity helps balance the richness and power of Grenache with freshness, finesse and mineral structure.

The wine is produced from Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre, with Grenache forming the core of the blend. Parcels and varieties are often co-fermented, followed by gentle extraction and approximately 12 months of ageing in large French oak vats, limiting overt oak influence while allowing the wine to soften and develop complexity.
