Glenfarclas Family Cask 2009 A25

Produced at Glenfarclas Distillery in Ballindalloch, Speyside, this 2009 vintage was distilled in 2009 and bottled in August 2025 as part of the Autumn 2025 Family Casks Release (A25). Matured exclusively in First-Fill Sherry Butt #1118, the whisky spent approximately 16 years developing its rich character before being bottled at cask strength, natural colour, and without chill filtration.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich aromas of dried apricots, figs, raisins, cinnamon, toasted nuts, dark toffee, polished oak, and sweet Oloroso sherry unfold with remarkable intensity.

Palate: Full-bodied and viscous with layers of toffee, dark chocolate, dried fruit, sweet sherry, roasted nuts, baking spice, vanilla, and rich oak balanced by impressive cask-strength power.

Finish: Long, warming, and elegant with lingering notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, oak spice, subtle tannins, and rich sherry sweetness
