Ichiro’s Malt Wine Wood Reserve

This expression blends single malts from Chichibu, the storied Hanyu Distillery, and select Scottish distilleries. These spirits have been aged in a variety of casks for undisclosed years before being unified into a richly expressive malt.
Following blending, the whisky undergoes maturation in wine wood casks sourced from prominent wineries around the world, layering the spirit with fruit-driven complexity. Its final refinement in French Ovum casks adds depth, roundness, and structure—not commonly seen in Japanese whisky production.

Aroma:
Bright orange zest meets dark chocolate, delicate malt, and aromatic star anise for a beautifully layered nose.

Palate:
Luscious red fruits and warm sweet spices intertwine with notes of dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and wine-driven richness.

Finish:
Long, sustaining waves of chocolate and vibrant red fruit linger gracefully.
