The vineyards of Wild Goose are the heart of the business. Everything is lost or gained in the vineyard. Wild Goose Vineyards & Winery’s properties currently consist of three vineyard sites. An intensely flavoured and structured Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon blend with aromas of black cherry, cassis, red and black plum, and dark chocolate along with subtle violet, grilled red pepper, clove, sage, and dried thyme notes. The palate is full-bodied with crisp acid and firm, ageable, grippy tannins and lots of mixed berry fruit, cocoa, paprika, mint-chocolate, espresso, and some graphite and red currant notes on the finish.
