William Fevre Chablis

William Fevre Chablis

A fresh lemon yellow. The nose is a little more subdued than the Petit Chablis but more classical. This too has the attractive saline bitterness of extreme youth, but the fruit builds beautifully on the palate. - Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy)

William Fevre Champs Royaux Chablis

Founded in 1959, Domaine William Fèvre is one of Chablis' most prestigious producers and one of the largest holders of Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the region. Since joining the Henriot family in 1998, the estate has continued its commitment to sustainable viticulture and meticulous vineyard management, earning an international reputation for producing some of Chablis' most terroir-driven wines.

William Fèvre Chablis is made from 100% Chardonnay, sourced from estate-owned and carefully selected vineyards planted on the region's famous Kimmeridgian limestone soils, rich in fossilized marine sediments. These ancient soils are largely responsible for the wine's signature minerality, precision, and saline character.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale gold with brilliant green reflections

Nose: Aromas of lemon zest, green apple, white peach, and citrus blossom layered with notes of oyster shell, wet stone, and subtle white flowers

Palate: Light- to medium-bodied, with vibrant acidity and flavours of citrus, crisp orchard fruit, and white peach. A pronounced mineral backbone and saline character are complemented by delicate lees-derived texture, creating exceptional balance and precision

Finish: Long, clean, and refreshing, with lingering citrus, flint, and classic Chablis minerality
