Heaven's Door Tennessee Bourbon

The Heavens Door range of whiskey have been created by Bob Dylan (yes, actual Bob Dylan, the legendary songwriter) and Marc Bushala (founder of Angels Envy Bourbon), made in a church in Tennessee. This expression is made with a mash bill featuring 30% small grains, and the spirit is allowed to age for at least 8 years in American oak barrels. The bottle features a design from Dylans own wrought ironwork, and the name is of course a reference to his song Knockin on Heavens Door. Nose: Cedar, summer berries, cacao and toasted grains. Palate: Festive spices, vanilla pod, buttered corn and rye warmth. Finish: More authentic vanilla notes, paired with peanut brittle and nutmeg. Notes by Master of Malt
